Abstract:
This finding aid was created, in part, from a catalog record and a photocopied image of the original manuscript obtained by the Walt Whitman Archive. The original manuscript and catalog record are held at Brigham Young University.
Scope and Content:
Brigham Young University has two Whitman manuscripts, a late draft of
"The Prairie States"
and a letter to "Harry" about setting a poem in type for a newspaper. This electronic finding aid only describes at item-level the document deemed a poetry manuscript.
